WPSM is owned and operated by Fort Walton Educational Broadcasting Foundation Incorporated, and is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. WPSM is able to provide on-air Donor Acknowledgements for our business contribution. Donor Achnowledgements allow us to share the benefits of your business or organization with your taget demographic audience. WPSM is listener supported. This means that our listeners give financial contributions in order to cover our operating expenses and keep us on the air. That makes them very loyal to the businesses that do the same.
WPSM has been broadcasting since 1985, with a strong history growth. In February 2006, Radio Research Consortium provided their annual ARBITRON ratings. WPSM ranked in as the 3rd most listened to radio station on the entire Gulf Coast, out of over thirty stations, with women ages 25-54. We also rated ninth in the country among Christian radio stations. These numbers reflect a continuing trend. Currently, we reach over 30,000 listeners from Pensacola to Panama City, and north of the Alabama state line. We have recently more than DOUBLED our wattage to 11,000!
